If your emotions feel intense, unpredictable, or hard to manage, you’re not alone. Many people find themselves reacting in ways they don’t fully understand, which may include getting overwhelmed, shutting down, or struggling to cope in the moment.
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills Groups are designed to help you build practical tools to navigate these challenges. With the right support and structure, it’s possible to feel more in control, more stable, and more confident in how you respond to life’s changes and challenges.
We offer two separate DBT groups — one for teens and one for adults — both running as closed cohorts that meet weekly for 6 weeks. Each session is 90 minutes long.
Next cohort TBD.
Adult groups meet Thursdays, 6-7:30 pm.
Teen group meet Mondays, 6-7:30 pm.
All sessions are held in-person at 2200 E Williams Field Rd, Suite 200, Gilbert, AZ 85295. (Schedules subject to change.)
Private pay only. Because this is a closed cohort, weekly payment is required regardless of attendance. A 10% discount is available when the full program is paid upfront.
A DBT workbook is included and provided at the first session — designed specifically for this program by Daylight's founder.

Each therapist at Daylight brings their own expertise and personality while sharing our core values: genuine presence, compassionate care, and a commitment to helping you heal at your own pace. Browse our team below to find the right fit for what you're going through.
My personal background drew me to becoming a therapist and motivates me to keep doing the work I'm doing. Guiding individuals in becoming the best version of themselves is a unique experience that not everyone gets to see. I cherish the genuine relationships I've been able to build with clients.
I meet clients where they're at and really focus on building a therapeutic relationship. Common challenges I enjoy working with are life transitions, first generation experiences, generational trauma, racial identity, and anxiety.
I'm originally from Illinois and love anything nature related. When I'm not in the office, I'm hiking, running, or creating art. I also have over 40 books on my bookshelf (non-therapy books)!
I was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona almost 10 years ago. I come from an Asian American household and blended myself into a Hispanic American household through my adolescent and young adult years. Mental health has been a big part of my roller coaster of a life, and the mental health field has given me the passion and dedication to guide others to become the expert of their lives.
I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I love helping people navigate themselves for a better quality of life. It's important for me to provide a space for others to be their true authentic selves and to become aware of their strengths and skills. My approach is nonjudgmental and comfortable, and I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, and relationship issues.
Outside of sessions, I love all cultured food, enjoy singing, and showing my creative side by designing t-shirts.
I've always had a heart for people, especially those who just need a little help along the way. I believe we're wired for connection, and every time I get to sit with someone and offer support, it reminds me of why I do this work.
My main approach is Compassion Focused Therapy, which helps you understand why your brain gets stuck in stress, shame, or self-criticism, and teaches you how to respond to yourself with more kindness. I'm often reminding my clients to give themselves some grace, because we all need that.
I especially love supporting women navigating life transitions, the chaos, the growth, the identity shifts, and the surprising joy mixed in. I also enjoy working with teens who benefit from perspective, insight, and support from another trusted adult. My hope is to make things feel a little lighter, a little clearer, and maybe even a little funny.
Outside of work, my life involves my family, our horses and dogs, off-roading, fishing, reading, or binge-watching shows like Friends or Sherlock. We're also Dodgers fans, which keeps life interesting.
I'm drawn to this work because I value service and believe deeply in every person's capacity for growth and resilience. I want my clients to feel seen, understood, and capable of navigating life's challenges. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others recognize their strengths, step into their power, and move boldly in their pursuit of happiness.
My approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in genuine connection. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, with a specialization in perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum).
I'm an Arizona native and currently working on my goal of visiting all 33 Arizona State Parks, a journey that keeps me connected to nature, biodiversity, and the beauty of the place we call home.

Not always. Some clients participate in DBT groups on their own, while others combine them with individual therapy. We can help you decide what’s best for your situation during the consultation.
That’s completely normal. Many people feel unsure at first. DBT groups are structured, supportive, and guided by a therapist to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Some DBT groups follow a structured cycle, so start times may vary. Reach out to us to learn about current availability and upcoming group openings.
While our therapists don't accept insurance directly, they can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients receive partial coverage this way.
