We chose to build the kind of practice where you feel seen, heard, and supported, through every step of your healing journey

Daylight Counseling exists because someone knew what it felt like to sit across from a therapist who barely spoke, who felt like a stranger taking notes instead of someone who actually cared.

Our name comes from a song about stepping into the daylight and letting go. It's a reminder that healing means moving toward the light and trusting that something better is waiting. That's what we want for you. The chance to step into your own daylight, feel actually seen, and do the hard work of healing with people who won't disappear on you.

You'll work with therapists who bring warmth and real expertise, who remember your story, and who genuinely care about seeing you thrive.

Compassion

"If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can't survive."

Pam got into this work because she wanted to be the kind of therapist she needed when she was struggling. Someone who shows up fully present, someone who makes you feel like you're not alone in it.

She holds a Master's degree in Professional Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Board Approved Supervisor, and is trained in EMDR through an EMDRIA-approved provider. She specializes in working with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship struggles.

Her approach is warm and grounded. She believes healing happens in connection, not isolation. And that therapy should feel like working with someone who gets it, because she does.

Outside of sessions, Pam is the friend who always has empathy to spare (even for inanimate objects), the planner who never lets you buy her house decor, and the most competitive person in any board game. She shows up as her whole self, in life and in therapy.

I was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona almost 10 years ago. I come from an Asian American household and blended myself into a Hispanic American household through my adolescent and young adult years. Mental health has been a big part of my roller coaster of a life, and the mental health field has given me the passion and dedication to guide others to become the expert of their lives.

I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I love helping people navigate themselves for a better quality of life. It's important for me to provide a space for others to be their true authentic selves and to become aware of their strengths and skills. My approach is nonjudgmental and comfortable, and I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, and relationship issues.

Outside of sessions, I love all cultured food, enjoy singing, and showing my creative side by designing t-shirts.

I'm drawn to this work because I value service and believe deeply in every person's capacity for growth and resilience. I want my clients to feel seen, understood, and capable of navigating life's challenges. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others recognize their strengths, step into their power, and move boldly in their pursuit of happiness.

My approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in genuine connection. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, with a specialization in perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum).

I've always had a heart for people, especially those who just need a little help along the way. I believe we're wired for connection, and every time I get to sit with someone and offer support, it reminds me of why I do this work.

My main approach is Compassion Focused Therapy, which helps you understand why your brain gets stuck in stress, shame, or self-criticism, and teaches you how to respond to yourself with more kindness. I'm often reminding my clients to give themselves some grace, because we all need that.

I especially love supporting women navigating life transitions, the chaos, the growth, the identity shifts, and the surprising joy mixed in. I also enjoy working with teens who benefit from perspective, insight, and support from another trusted adult. My hope is to make things feel a little lighter, a little clearer, and maybe even a little funny.

Outside of work, my life involves my family, our horses and dogs, off-roading, fishing, reading, or binge-watching shows like Friends or Sherlock. We're also Dodgers fans, which keeps life interesting.

My personal background drew me to becoming a therapist and motivates me to keep doing the work I'm doing. Guiding individuals in becoming the best version of themselves is a unique experience that not everyone gets to see. I cherish the genuine relationships I've been able to build with clients.

I meet clients where they're at and really focus on building a therapeutic relationship. Common challenges I enjoy working with are life transitions, first generation experiences, generational trauma, racial identity, and anxiety.

I'm originally from Illinois and love anything nature related. When I'm not in the office, I'm hiking, running, or creating art. I also have over 40 books on my bookshelf (non-therapy books)!
