I was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona almost 10 years ago. I come from an Asian American household and blended myself into a Hispanic American household through my adolescent and young adult years. Mental health has been a big part of my roller coaster of a life, and the mental health field has given me the passion and dedication to guide others to become the expert of their lives.
I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I love helping people navigate themselves for a better quality of life. It's important for me to provide a space for others to be their true authentic selves and to become aware of their strengths and skills. My approach is nonjudgmental and comfortable, and I enjoy working with pre-teens, teens, adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, and relationship issues.
Outside of sessions, I love all cultured food, enjoy singing, and showing my creative side by designing t-shirts.
I'm drawn to this work because I value service and believe deeply in every person's capacity for growth and resilience. I want my clients to feel seen, understood, and capable of navigating life's challenges. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others recognize their strengths, step into their power, and move boldly in their pursuit of happiness.
My approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in genuine connection. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions, with a specialization in perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum).
I'm an Arizona native and currently working on my goal of visiting all 33 Arizona State Parks, a journey that keeps me connected to nature, biodiversity, and the beauty of the place we call home.
I've always had a heart for people, especially those who just need a little help along the way. I believe we're wired for connection, and every time I get to sit with someone and offer support, it reminds me of why I do this work.
My main approach is Compassion Focused Therapy, which helps you understand why your brain gets stuck in stress, shame, or self-criticism, and teaches you how to respond to yourself with more kindness. I'm often reminding my clients to give themselves some grace, because we all need that.
I especially love supporting women navigating life transitions, the chaos, the growth, the identity shifts, and the surprising joy mixed in. I also enjoy working with teens who benefit from perspective, insight, and support from another trusted adult. My hope is to make things feel a little lighter, a little clearer, and maybe even a little funny.
Outside of work, my life involves my family, our horses and dogs, off-roading, fishing, reading, or binge-watching shows like Friends or Sherlock. We're also Dodgers fans, which keeps life interesting.
My personal background drew me to becoming a therapist and motivates me to keep doing the work I'm doing. Guiding individuals in becoming the best version of themselves is a unique experience that not everyone gets to see. I cherish the genuine relationships I've been able to build with clients.
I meet clients where they're at and really focus on building a therapeutic relationship. Common challenges I enjoy working with are life transitions, first generation experiences, generational trauma, racial identity, and anxiety.
I'm originally from Illinois and love anything nature related. When I'm not in the office, I'm hiking, running, or creating art. I also have over 40 books on my bookshelf (non-therapy books)!
I became a therapist because I've always felt a strong pull toward helping others grow into the best versions of themselves. What matters most to me in this work is building genuine, meaningful connections where clients feel seen, heard and supported. I believe that healing begins in a space rooted in compassion and empathy.
My approach to therapy centers on creating a safe, trusting and collaborative relationship. I meet each client with understanding and respect, tailoring my work to their unique experiences and goals. I specialize in working with trauma, relationship challenges, and a range of mental health concerns, striving to help clients navigate these areas with care and empowerment.
Outside of my professional life, I'm a big movie enthusiast. At one point, I even set a goal to see every movie playing in theaters for an entire year. I genuinely enjoy pop culture, and you'll often find me referencing a favorite film or song in everyday life. It's one of the ways I connect, relate and bring a bit of personality into my work and personal life.

That's exactly what the free 15-minute consultation is for. We'll talk through what you're experiencing and help you decide if this feels like the right step.
